(SOUNDBITE) (English) LIVERPOOL MANAGER, JUERGEN KLOPP, SAYING: "I'm happy, really happy, relieved. Last night I was overwhelmed obviously, but it's a very good, it's a very good moment in my life and yes. It's a mix of all. It's a mix of all, it shows me I'm not 100% sure about myself. It just shows me it's a really big achievement, I know that. And it was an incredible ride to get here, but the boys did in the time since I'm in is just exceptional and I'm so happy for them that we could do that." 2. WHITE FLASH 3. (SOUNDBITE) (English) LIVERPOOL MANAGER, JUERGEN KLOPP, SAYING: "(LAUGHS) I don't know what is next?" REPORTER, SAYING (OFF CAMERA): "You're the boss." "(LAUGHS) NO -- So, the last 13 months around about were pretty special for us, that's true. That's absolutely true and I would like to involve the year before as well because it was just an incredible time, football time in my life to be honest winning that amount of games, getting this amount of points is absolutely exceptional and I didn't experience this before, honestly. I had good parts during my career but not that good. And so, I couldn't be more thankful to be part of that. The consistency the boys really showed is so exceptional I cannot describe it and we will not stop. That's it; we will not stop, we really have to and will stay focused because we see the opportunity, but we will not stop doesn't mean that we will win everything. We just want to improve because the other teams they are really good already and will be better and stuff like this and (Manchester) City is anyway absolutely exceptional. So, I cannot promise that we win something. What I can promise is that we try everything to improve and that's I think possible because there are football parts we can improve, of course. The consistency is difficult to improve; if we could keep that level of consistency that would be already nice. We are really good because even the games we lost were not bad. For example, when we lost last year, last season at Man City it was because of 11 millimetres or whatever so it was not a bad game from us against a super team. But, yes showing that consistent performing is possible. I would like, I would like to." 4. WHITE FLASH 5. (SOUNDBITE) (English) LIVERPOOL MANAGER, JUERGEN KLOPP, SAYING: "We didn't do more, we did it again. I'm not sure it was possible to do more than we did last year so now from a training intensive point of view or stuff like this we were absolutely -- we were already squeezing everything out. So, it helped massively that we won the Champions League in the end because we didn't go out of that season with empty hands or with losing the league title if you want. We left the season with a Champions League win, it was obviously massive. But I'm -- and that helps as well on the confidence, from a confidence point of view makes you from the nearly man to a serial winner or whatever, or people are making of these kind of things but that was the situation. So, we knew - and that's clear in this league - when you want -- if you want to win the league, it's pretty much not allowed to lose any game. So, because City is usually not losing football games. That's how it is. They've never stopped since Pep (Guardiola) is there, they've never stopped and we will try that as well. We will try not to stop. We will try to improve. We will try to make things happen and make things special. This is now only a moment - today we sit here and we talk about it, tomorrow we train and then we prepare the City game, that's how it is. It's still a nice moment, but we have seven games to go and we want to play our best football in these games and hopefully we can do that." 6. WHITE FLASH 7. (SOUNDBITE) (English) LIVERPOOL MANAGER, JUERGEN KLOPP, SAYING: "The consistency we showed makes all the difference, makes all the difference and it's incredible. We were good four years ago, we were really good three years ago. We were unbelievably good last year. The consistency we showed there was already incredible and then smashing this record pretty much until this point of the season because so far we don't have the numbers, obviously not the points from last season. It's absolutely exceptional and second to none I know to be honest. That's really unbelievably and difficult to get there and it's all on the boys' commitment, desire and understanding of the club's heart and soul and that made it happen and I'm thankfully part of this. That's good." 8. WHITE FLASH 9. (SOUNDBITE) (German) LIVERPOOL MANAGER, JUERGEN KLOPP, SAYING: "…Once or twice in life. When I said goodbye to Mainz however many years ago and couldn't speak because I was crying. That doesn't happen to me often but apparently it can in certain moments, and yesterday was one of them. Normally, I would have made a little speech to the players afterwards but that wasn't possible at all. As soon as I started to talk about certain things, or even just to think about them, I started crying. It's not cool but that's how it was. Now I'm fine again, and it's not something that's going to happen often, let's put it that way." 10. WHITE FLASH 11. (SOUNDBITE) (German) LIVERPOOL MANAGER, JUERGEN KLOPP, SAYING: "What happened before was nice -- 10 or 15 seconds before the final whistle I thought we were going to win so I FaceTimed my family, told them to stay on the line and then put the phone down on the table so they could be part of it. We were all so happy, it was very emotional because it's such a big deal. It's not normal for us -- it wouldn't be normal for anyone but for our club it's particularly unusual and special. And that's what I noticed yesterday. I didn't realise how big it would feel. I hadn't been waiting for 30 years, but everyone else had and we all felt that -- this burden falling plus the joy that we had done it. It was an extreme mix and clearly not all parts of my body were able to cope with it." 12. WHITE FLASH 13. (SOUNDBITE) (German) LIVERPOOL MANAGER, JUERGEN KLOPP, SAYING: "Why should I say that it's something special compared to what I've experienced before? I don't like it when I'm supposed to make Mainz or Dortmund seem less important than Liverpool. At this moment this feels huge, as the others did at the time too. It was never the case that we had won so much that it didn't feel special anymore. They were all special and that is the case here now too. It is very special, and the fact that people have been waiting so long makes it even more special because it was more difficult. The lockdown didn't make things easier for us - it made things harder, as it did for everyone else. So, achieving something like this despite all that is wonderful. It's a good sign for the future that you can be excited about something again. It's a great feeling now, but it also great for the future that you can be part of something again, and that's what makes it so special right now." LIVERPOOL, ENGLAND, UNITED KINGDOM (JUNE 25, 2020) (REUTERS - ACCESS ALL) 14. VARIOUS OF LIVERPOOL FANS CELEBRATING OUTSIDE ANFIELD AFTER CHELSEA BEAT MANCHESTER CITY TO OFFICIALLY MAKE LIVERPOOL CHAMPIONS STORY: Liverpool manager Juergen Klopp has warned his Premier League rivals that his team will not stop in their pursuit of more success after securing the title on Thursday (June 25). Liverpool were crowned champions with seven games remaining after second-placed Manchester City lost to Chelsea 2-1, leaving Klopp's team, who have lost just one game this season, unreachable at the top with a 23 point advantage. But the German, who won the Champions League with Liverpool last season, said there was no guarantee of further glory. Last season, Liverpool lost one game and earned 97 points but could finish only second to Pep Guardiola's City and Klopp said that showed there was little room for error.
