Hibernian youngster Lewis Gillie is named on the bench for this afternoon’s Scottish Cup Fourth Round clash with Clydebank.
This is the youngster's first inclusion in David Gray’s matchday squad this season.
Gillie joined the Hibs academy in 2018 at the age of 10 – having spent his earlier years with Musselburgh Windsor and in the Gala Fairydean Rovers Academy.
The 16-year-old penned his first professional deal with the Club in Summer 2024 after an impressive season with Darren McGregor’s U18 side.
Gillie has been a prominent feature of the U18s set-up this campaign – having cemented his starting spot at centre-back for the wee Hibees.
The left-footed defender is also comfortable playing at left-back or left-wing-back.
Gillie was also involved for the wee Hibees last night, finding the back of the net in our 5-0 victory over Dundee United at Foundation Park (pictured below).
