Juventus given reprieve on 15-point penalty but Paratici appeal is rejected

Juventus have had their 15-point penalty suspended pending a new trial, but Tottenham’s managing director of football, Fabio Paratici, saw his 30-month ban upheld by the Italian sporting authorities.

Following a three-hour hearing on Wednesday, Juventus’ case has now been referred back to the Italian football federation’s appeals court. The lifting of the points penalty moves the Bianconeri up to third in Serie A and back in the mix for a spot in next season’s Champions League.
