Iga Swiatek has become the first Polish player to win a grand slam after beating American Sofia Kenin 6-4, 6-1 at the French Open. The 19-year-old spoke the day after her victory saying that the success is 'still pretty overwhelming for me ... I'm happy the whole country supported me. I also really think is going to be a new thing for me to go back and be popular, somehow.'
