Paul Cook spoke to the media ahead of tomorrow night’s game against Doncaster Rovers. He began with a reflection on the transfer window, saying: “We had more than one deal done in the last couple of days where we were going to pay a transfer fee to bring players in and more than one have failed medicals amongst the different stuff that goes on in football. “Really disappointed for our supporters, disappointed for the players. But the most important thing when you’re signing players is that you’re signing them with the right intention, the best intention, to make your team better, to make your club better. “Phil and Ash Kirk have been a great support as always. In terms of a blame situation, there’s no one to blame, it’s football.
